NEW YORK (AP) \u2014 Major League Baseball has agreed on a strategic partnership with Jomboy Media and will acquire a stake in the company. The two sides announced the deal on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Jomboy Media will be used across MLB\u2019s digital channels. MLB will also help grow Jomboy Media\u2019s other shows, including \u201cTalkin\u2019 Baseball,\u201d \u201cTalkin\u2019 Yanks,\u201d and \u201cThe Warehouse Games.\u201d<\/p>\n
Both sides are also expected to collaborate on IP growth and ad opportunities around MLB\u2019s key events, including the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby.<\/p>\n
According to the release, Jomboy Media set revenue and profitability records last year, and had more than 93 million engagements on social media. Jomboy Media was founded by Jimmy \u201cJomboy\u201d O\u2019Brien and Jake Storiale in 2017.<\/p>\n

Jomboy Media\u2019s key property is \u201cThe Warehouse Games,\u201d a league modeled after classic backyard games. The series has nearly 400 million all-time views.<\/p>\n
