And the Razorbacks’<\/a> first opponent in that quest for championship is not an easy one to beat: No. 6 LSU.<\/p>\n

Arkansas<\/a> and LSU are scheduled to close Day 2 of competition at the CWS with a 6 p.m. CT first pitch at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska.<\/p>\n

Arkansas cruised through the postseason to return to the Mecca of college baseball for the first time since 2022, going a perfect 5-0 in the Fayetteville Regional and Fayetteville Super Regionals. The Razorbacks also took down reigning national champion Tennessee in the super regionals to reach Omaha, Nebraska.<\/p>\n

LSU has been just as hot as Arkansas in the postseason, moving its way through the regional and super regional rounds of the NCAA baseball tournament with ease. The Tigers swept West Virginia in the Baton Rouge Super Regional with scores of 16-9 and 12-5.<\/p>\n

The Razorbacks enter the 2025 CWS tied for the second-most CWS appearances without a national championship title<\/a>\u00a0(12) among all Division I baseball programs.<\/p>\n
