The Toronto Blue Jays are heading into the trade deadline as buyers and it looks like Ross Atkins’ main focus revolves around a starting pitcher.<\/p>\n

The Blue Jays are on very big high right now as they are currently the best team in the American League with a 12-3 record in their last 15 games but they are still looking to make some small changes before the playoffs.<\/p>\n
In a recent interview, former MLB GM Jim Bowden stated that he has heard that the Atkins<\/a> is looking to add a starting pitcher to their rotation at the trade deadline.<\/p>\n If the Blue Jays believe they have a chance to make a run in October, they are going to need another dependable arm alongside the steady Kevin Gausman, Chris Bassitt and Jos\u00e9 Berrios.
