The Los Angeles Dodgers have had some of their most prolific members of the pitching roster shelved for significant time this season. <\/p>\n
Luckily, there have been some positive signs of improvement from a few key pitchers trending towards recovery. I\u2019m excited. I feel good about the process coming back.\u201d<\/p>\n Treinen mustered just eight innings this season before landing on the injured list on April 19. He spoke more on his progression and the light at the end of the tunnel. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s probably where it needs to be right now, and that\u2019s the best way I can word it,\u201d Treinen said. \u201cAll I know is how I feel right now is right where it needs to be. The bullpen results today were really good. So just continuing to take each day one step at a time.\u201d<\/p>\n Manager Dave Roberts<\/a> spoke on another integral pitcher, All-Star starter Tyler Glasnow, who has been on the injured list since April 28 with shoulder inflammation. The right-hander recently threw a live batting practice to minor league hitters. <\/p>\n \u201cThe velocity was there, the swing-and-miss, the delivery,\u201d Roberts said. \u201cTalking to him after, he was really excited. There\u2019ll be another simulated game, two innings, next week. Not sure exactly which day. But we\u2019re very encouraged. I thought the stuff was really good, and Tyler was pretty excited.\u201d<\/p>\n The skipper also shared his thoughts on Blake Snell\u2019s bullpen of all fastballs. The two-time Cy Young Award-winning southpaw has been out since April 6, just two starts into his Dodgers tenure. <\/p>\n \u201cI think he got to 20, 25 pitches and it was crispy, it was good,\u201d Roberts said. \u201cReally good. I\u2019m not sure what his next one is, but he came out of it really well which is exciting for all of us.
