She just plays the game right. Our community sees it and our youth players see it and if they strive to play like Bella, our softball program at TC will flourish for years to come,” he said.

In the batter’s box, Dominguez hit a team-best .560, a program-best, along with 33 runs batted in (RBI), eight doubles, five triples, four home runs, and an on-base percentage (OBP) of .638.

She also led the team in stolen bases with 30 while playing a key role in Tri-County’s defense this year as the starting catcher.

For Grace Luck, one of Tri-County’s two forces in the circle this season, her 2025 campaign led her to a Second Team All-State nod in Class 2A/A.

Her ability to lead the team in the circle is what gave her a leg up, said head coach Michael Luck.

“She took ownership over the whole defense than in years past regarding communicating, teaching, and directing so we were in the correct positions to make plays,” he said.

While noting that her prowess as a hitter also paid dividends.

“When runners were on base with her batting, you could tell this year was different that she knew she was going to drive those runners in and was aggressive in doing so even though she batted in the two spot for us and broke the single-season RBI record at Tri-County,” Luck said.

Luck led the team with 43 RBIs this year while also hitting second best on the team with a batting average of .538 as well as 9 doubles, three triples, four home runs, and an OBP of .581.

While stealing 22 bases on offense, arguably her biggest contribution came in the circle when she pitched a 2.69 earned run average this season and striking out 105 batters in 65 innings total.

And for as great as both players were in 2025, their greatness had a trickle down effect throughout the roster.

“For both Bella and Grace, they are the types of players that lead by their work ethic and playing the game right with hustle, poise, and aggressiveness, “Luck said. “When they are routinely going all out in the weight room, running, fielding, throwing, etc. it pushes everyone else around them to up their game. All players have different skill sets, but coaches can see when players are giving their all or going through the motions. Bella and Grace make players give more because they are giving their all.”

The 2025 season for Tri-County’s varsity softball team was full of historic moments and accolades received by many…

[2288
2315,2309,2336,3521,5,2316,2314,2313,2340,2430,2447,3518,3437,2333,2335,2334,19,2310,2328,2304,2318,2308,2319,4,2305,2303,18570,2307,2326,5332,2321,1210,185,2560,2338,2311,2312,1039
0":"post-108603","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-mlb-postseason","8":"tag-athletic-sports","9":"tag-ball-and-bat-games","10":"tag-ball-games","11":"tag-base-running","12":"tag-baseball","13":"tag-baseball-competitions","14":"tag-baseball-finals","15":"tag-baseball-playoffs-and-champions","16":"tag-baseball-positions","17":"tag-baseball-statistics","18":"tag-batting-baseball","19":"tag-catcher","20":"tag-double-baseball","21":"tag-grass-field-surfaces","22":"tag-home-run","23":"tag-lawn-games","24":"tag-major-league-baseball","25":"tag-major-league-baseball-competitions","26":"tag-major-league-baseball-playoffs","27":"tag-major-league-baseball-postseason","28":"tag-major-league-baseball-seasons","29":"tag-major-league-baseball-teams","30":"tag-major-league-baseball-teams-seasons","31":"tag-mlb","32":"tag-mlb-playoffs","33":"tag-mlb-postseason","34":"tag-on-base-percentage","35":"tag-outdoor-sports","36":"tag-run-baseball","37":"tag-run-batted-in","38":"tag-seasons-in-baseball","39":"tag-softball","40":"tag-sports","41":"tag-stolen-base","42":"tag-team-activities","43":"tag-team-sports","44":"tag-turf-sports","45":"tag-world-series
["GET
