DETROIT \u2013 Detroit Tigers<\/a> outfielder Kerry Carpenter<\/a> has partnered with Savvy Sliders<\/a> for an exclusive \u201cKerry Bonds\u201d limited-edition meal.<\/p>\n

Savvy Sliders, America\u2019s fast-growing brand, announced a partnership with Carpenter on Wednesday (June 18), one of the Tigers\u2019 brightest stars, for a tasty collaboration.<\/p>\n

The limited-time combo will bring the power of the plate to the fans both on the diamond and at the table.<\/p>\n

The Kerry Bonds combo meal, which is named as a playful nod to Carpenter\u2019s growing reputation as a home run threat, included two signature Savvy Sliders topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and the famous Savvy Signature sauce, a side of seasoned crinkle fries and your choice of a drink or hand-spun chocolate custard shake, which is the long-ball players favorite.<\/p>\n

The Kerry Bonds combo will be available at all participating Savvy Sliders locations across Michigan starting July 1, 2025, for a limited time this summer. <\/p>\n

The limited-edition meal will be $11.99 (with the drink option) or $14.99 (with the hand-spun custard chocolate shake option).<\/p>\n

To kick off this partnership, Carpenter, known for his explosive bat and growing leadership on the Tigers roster, will make a special appearance at the Savvy Sliders location in St. Clair Shores on Monday, June 23, from 12 p.m. \u2013 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

Fans can meet him. Even though this exclusive meal does not launch in stores until July 1, for that day only and at the designated location, fans will have the opportunity to be the first to purchase and try the Kerry combo.<\/p>\n

Savvy Sliders locations across Michigan will be carrying the exclusive Kerry Bonds combo meal for a limited time only.<\/p>\n

Yes, I know what you\u2019re thinking; the play on words is, in fact, a nod to Major League Baseball\u2019s home run king, Barry Bonds (762).<\/p>\n

Bonds hit the most home runs in a single season with 73, which was set in 2001.<\/p>\n

He also has the record for the most walks and intentional walks in a career, season, and in consecutive games.<\/p>\n

Like Bonds used to do back in his heyday, Carpenter has been blasting homers this season for the Tigers, who have the best record in baseball at 47-27.<\/p>\n

This season, Carpenter is hitting .260 with 61 hits, 27 RBI, and 13 home runs.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old, for his career, is averaging .276 with 57 home runs.<\/p>\n
