Taking the mound tonight for the A\u2019s is 27-year-old lefty Jacob Lopez. He\u2019s 1-4 on the season with a 4.80 ERA and forty strikeouts in nine appearances (five starts) and a total of thirty innings. He has never faced the Astros before in his three MLB seasons. Lopez will go up against 26-year-old lefty Colton Gordon for Houston. Gordon, a rookie, is 2-1 on the season, with a 4.70 ERA in six starts.
