Is he a Cubs fan or a White Sox fan? The answer, he\u2019s southside all the way.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Pope Leo XIV\u2019s brother, John Prevost, revealed to local Chicago news station WGN TV that the new pontiff was a White Sox fan, despite some rumors that he was a supporter of the Cubbies.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Cubs had initially attempted to claim<\/a> the new pope as one of their own and put up a message outside Wrigley Field that let it be known of Pope Leo XIV\u2019s fandom.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cHey Chicago. He\u2019s a Sox fan!\u201d<\/p>\n
