He has a 3.49 ERA this season and faces a Rangers lineup whose 3.6 runs per game is 26th in the league. The Pirates\u2019 3.2 runs per game on offense are last in MLB. Rangers starting pitcher Jack Leiter looks to keep them at bay, providing a 4.40 ERA overall this season. He is backed up by a Rangers bullpen whose 3.30 ERA ranks fourth in the league. Chicago White Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays\u00a0<\/p>\n White Sox starting pitcher Adrian Houser has dazzled in his first five starts with a 2.15 ERA and just two home runs allowed in 29 1\/3 innings. Blue Jays starting pitcher Chris Bassitt has a 3.75 ERA with one home run and 2.1 walks per nine innings allowed. Since May 1, the Blue Jays\u2019 bullpen ERA is sixth in the league at 3.41 2:10 PM Eastern<\/p>\n Milwaukee Brewers vs. Minnesota Twins\u00a0<\/p>\n Brewers starting pitcher Quinn Priester enters in good form, posting a 3.49 ERA with two runs or fewer allowed in each of his past five starts. Twins starting pitcher Davis Festa owns a 4.76 ERA, but is getting 9.9 strikeouts per nine innings, with his main issue being that he has allowed 1.4 home runs per nine innings. That should be aided by the Brewers ranking 25th in the league in home runs per at-bat. 2:15 PM Eastern<\/p>\n Cincinnati Reds vs. St. Louis Cardinals\u00a0<\/p>\n Reds starting pitcher Andrew Abbott has allowed zero or one earned runs in 10 of his 12 starts this season with a 1.84 ERA overall. Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas has a 4.35 ERA with only 5.6 strikeouts per nine innings, but is doing a good job of not beating himself with only 0.7 home runs and 2.2 walks per nine innings. 3:10 PM Eastern<\/p>\n Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Colorado Rockies\u00a0<\/p>\n Rockies starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela owns a 6.72 ERA with 14.3 hits per nine innings allowed, but has allowed zero earned runs in two of his past three starts. Diamondbacks starting pitcher Brandon Pfaadt owns a 5.38 ERA with 1.8 home runs per nine innings. He faces a Rockies lineup whose 4.2 runs per game at home ranks 19th in the league. 4:05 PM Eastern<\/p>\n Cleveland Guardians vs. Athletics\u00a0<\/p>\n Guardians starting pitcher Slade Cecconi owns a 4.15 ERA this season, but a 4.69 fielding independent with 1.8 home runs and 3.3 walks per nine innings. Athletics starting pitcher JP Sears has a 6.89 ERA with 3.6 home runs per nine innings allowed at home and an overall ERA of 5.45. He is supported by an Athletics bullpen whose 6.10 ERA is last in the league. Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels\u00a0<\/p>\n Angels starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks owns a 4.74 ERA with 1.4 home runs per nine innings allowed. He is backed up by a bullpen whose 5.32 ERA ranks 27th in the league. Astros starting pitcher Ryan Gusto has a 4.31 ERA with 1.2 home runs and 9.9 strikeouts per nine innings. He has behind him an Astros bullpen whose 3.21 ERA ranks third in the league. 4:10 PM Eastern<\/p>\n Kansas City Royals vs. San Diego Padres\u00a0<\/p>\n Padres starting pitcher Randy Vasquez owns a 3.70 ERA despite allowing 1.4 home runs and 4.3 walks per nine innings. His ERA drops to 3.25 at home. Vasquez will face a Royals lineup that is last in the American League in scoring with 3.4 runs per game. Royals starting pitcher Seth Lugo owns a 3.05 ERA, but had a 4.53 fielding independent with 1.4 home runs per nine innings allowed. 7:00 PM Eastern<\/p>\n New York Mets vs. Philadelphia Phillies\u00a0<\/p>\n Phillies starting pitcher Jesus Luzardo has struggled recently, allowing four runs or more in three of his past four starts. He has a 2.15 ERA and three runs or fewer allowed in each of his first 11 starts of the season and should return to form. Mets starting pitcher David Peterson has been a master at inducing soft contact, posting a 2.60 ERA with 0.4 home runs allowed per nine innings.
