Taylor Gillispie, a recent Troup High School graduate, has been named to the Blue Bell\/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 3A All-State team.<\/p>\n
The Trinity Valley community College signee was an honorable mention selection.<\/p>\n
Gillispie recorded a 16-6 record and a 1.71 earned run average in her final season as a Lady Tiger.<\/p>\n
In 118.2 innings of work, she struck out 175 opposing batters and walked 46.<\/p>\n
Gillispie was also one of District 16-3A\u2019s leading hitters.<\/p>\n
She concluded the season with a .427 batting average and launched 13 home runs while driving in 82 runs.<\/p>\n
