The runners moved up on a pickoff error by Zhuang, and the error would prove to be consequential, as Rikpen Reyes hit a bunt single to score Murphy. From a bunt to a bolt, the offense went, with Romeo Sanabria lining a single of his own to right field to score Snider. While the inning ended on a double play one batter later, the Missions capitalized on the error to claw their way to a win.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In other Missions news, catcher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/register\/player.fcgi?id=salas-000eth&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=eastvillagetimes.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-06-29_br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Ethan Salas<\/a> has begun to rehab at the Padres\u2019 Arizona Complex. Those seven punchouts were a career-high for the Caracas, Venezuela native. Despite the early exit for Parra, three relievers went on to hold the Nuts scoreless over the game\u2019s final five innings.
