Bryce Harper will be back for the Phillies’ return to Citizens Bank Park on Monday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The star first baseman has been activated from the 10-day Injured List, the club announced Monday afternoon<\/a>, while infielder Buddy Kennedy has been designated for assignment to make room on the 26-man roster.\u00a0<\/p>\n Prior to tonight\u2019s game against the San Diego Padres, the Phillies reinstated 1B Bryce Harper from the 10-day injured list. To make room on the 26-man roster, INF Buddy Kennedy was designated for assignment.<\/p>\n \u2014 Philadelphia Phillies (@Phillies) June 30, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n Harper has been out since June 6 with an inflammation issue in his right wrist<\/a>, which arose just after a brief return from a Spencer Strider fastball to the elbow that rendered him day-to-day.<\/p>\n The wrist issue was separate, and something that has been on and off in the past, Harper later said<\/a>, but was\u00a0debilitating enough this time to warrant an IL stint.
