Jarren Duran said, \u201cI got to a point where I was sitting in my room, I had my rifle and I had a bullet, and I pulled the trigger and the gun clicked, but nothing happened. So, to this day, I think God just didn\u2019t let me take my own life because I seriously don\u2019t know why it didn\u2019t go off.\u201dThe Boston Red Sox\u2019s star player also opened up about how fans\u2019 reactions on his poor performance on the field had a huge impact on his mental health.Jarren Duran said, \u201cI was already hearing it from fans\u2026That was a really tough time for me. I didn\u2019t even want to be here anymore.\u201dJarren Duran started his career in the MLB with his current team, the Boston Red Sox, back in 2021 and has constantly proved his worth.Last year, the star player was named the All-Star Game MVP after he was selected to play in the 2024 MLB All-Star Game. Jarren Duran was also placed 8th in American League MVP voting but he also got involved in a bit of controversy last year.Jarren Duran was suspended by the Boston Red Sox for two games after the star player was caught abusing a heckler.
