NBA, NFL, and MLB cards bearing these patches have sold for millions, including the Topps Dynasty Black card with the MLB logo patch from Ohtani\u2019s 50\/50 game-used pants that sold at auction for $1,067,500 in March. That was nearly double the second most expensive Ohtani card ever.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Ohtani\u2019s first million dollar card!<\/p>\n<p>Last night the 2024 Topps Shohei Ohtani Black Dynasty \u201c50\/50\u201d Relic 1\/1 sold for $1,067,500, a record price for any Ohtani card <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8FP1AksLfb\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/8FP1AksLfb<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Heritage Auctions Sports (@Heritage_Sport) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Heritage_Sport\/status\/1906350545285062867?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">March 30, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although this will only be the fourth Topps Dynasty Black card made to date (the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SportsCardInv\/status\/1859298672132960289\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">previous three<\/a> all included pieces of Ohtani\u2019s pants and batting gloves from the 50\/50 game), the series has already established itself as the most exclusive in the sports card industry, since each card includes pieces of hall-of-fame-worthy items from historic milestone events.<\/p>\n<p>Kershaw\u2019s most expensive publicly sold card to date was his 2006 Bowman Chrome Draft Picks Autographs Red Refractor (of which only five were made) with a BGS Pristine 10 card grade and 10 autograph grade, which went for $123,221.22 at auction in November of last year.
