The fan crossed multiple lines, all while being like 5 feet away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kaleikau <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jace_istheplace\/status\/1941256755012567471\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">added in the second post<\/a> that \u201cif there ever was a time when a fan went too far that warranted a response from a player, this was it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Phillies, who hold a \u00bd-game lead in the NL East entering Saturday, lost for the eighth time in 12 games Friday, going just 3-for-13 with runners in scoring position and stranding 11 runners on base to open a three-game set against the Reds.<\/p>\n<p>Castellanos in the dugout after Friday\u2019s loss. _piccone\/X<\/p>\n<p>Castellanos motioning to the fan. _piccone\/X<\/p>\n<p>Castellanos launched his 11th homer of the season to give the Phillies a temporary 3-0 lead in the first inning, but that advantage disappeared when Cincinnati scored five times in the third and knocked Philadelphia starter Jes\u00fas Luzardo out of the game.<\/p>\n<p>The outfielder is hitting .278 with a .771 OPS during his third season with the Phillies, though Castellanos\u2019 impressive streak of playing in 236 consecutive games came to an end last month when he made an undisclosed \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/06\/17\/sports\/phillies-bench-nick-castellanos-for-inappropriate-comment\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">inappropriate comment<\/a>\u201d to manager Rob Thomson \u2014 following Thomson\u2019s decision to remove him for a defensive replacement \u2014 and was benched for a game.<\/p>\n<p>Nick Castellanos homers during the Phillies\u2019 game against the Reds on July 4.
