Jasson Dom\u00ednguez<\/a> made Yankees<\/a> history.<\/p>\n

In Friday night\u2019s 10-2 win over the A\u2019s in West Sacramento, Dom\u00ednguez became the youngest player in franchise history to hit three home runs in a game, according to MLB stat guru Sarah Langs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dom\u00ednguez is 22 years and 91 days old.<\/p>\n

The switch-hitting Dom\u00ednguez struck a solo home run off of right-handed A\u2019s starter Osvaldo Bido in the third inning; a solo shot against left-hander Hogan Harris in the seventh; and a grand slam off of right-hander Elvis Alvarado in the eighth.<\/p>\n

Dom\u00ednguez also contributed a fifth-inning sacrifice fly as part of a seven-RBI game, which set a career high.<\/p>\n

The grand slam was the first of Dom\u00ednguez\u2019s career, while his home run against Harris marked his first as a right-handed hitter. It was the first multi-homer game of the rookie outfielder\u2019s career.<\/p>\n

Dom\u00ednguez entered Friday with two home runs in 104 at-bats this season. He now has five after Friday\u2019s 3-for-4 performance.<\/p>\n

That offense came in support of another rookie in Yankees starter Will Warren, who held the A\u2019s to one run over 7.1 innings with seven strikeouts to pick up his second career victory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jasson Dom\u00ednguez made Yankees history.
