Patrick Bailey bounced a three-run, inside-the-park home run high off the right-field wall with one out in the last of the ninth inning Tuesday night, delivering the San Francisco Giants a 4-3 walk-off victory over the visiting Philadelphia Phillies.<\/p>\n

A two-run home run by Kyle Schwarber had given the Phillies a 3-1 lead in the seventh, an advantage the Philadelphia bullpen carried into the ninth.<\/p>\n

Closer Jordan Ramano (1-4), who had entered the game with one out in the eighth, immediately got himself into a jam in the ninth when Casey Schmitt opened with a double.<\/p>\n

One out later, Wilmer Flores singled to center, setting the stage for Patrick Bailey, whose blast hit near the top of the 24-foot brick wall and caromed along the warning track toward left field, rolling past center fielder Brandon Marsh in the process.<\/p>\n

The catcher easily circled the bases to complete the Giants\u2019 ninth walk-off win of the season and give San Francisco a fourth straight victory.<\/p>\n

Ryan Walker (2-3), who needed just one pitch to get the final out in the top of the ninth, was credited with the win.<\/p>\n

After starters Taijuan Walker and Robbie Ray had left a 1-1 game, the Phillies went ahead for the first time in the seventh on Schwarber\u2019s 28th homer into the water beyond the right-field wall at Oracle Park, giving the visitors a 3-1 lead.<\/p>\n

Walker pitched the first four innings, allowing one run and two hits. He walked two and struck out three.<\/p>\n

He surrendered the Giants\u2019 first run in the second, when he walked Mike Yastrzemski leading off before serving up consecutive one-out singles to Jung Hoo Lee and Dominic Smith, the latter plating the run.<\/p>\n

The Phillies evened the score in the sixth and knocked out All-Star Ray in the process. Otto Kemp\u2019s two-out double ended Ray\u2019s shutout bid, driving in Alec Bohm, who had walked in front of a Nick Castellanos single.<\/p>\n

Ray was pulled at that point, charged with one run on four hits in 5 2\/3 innings. He walked three and struck out five.<\/p>\n

Patrick Bailey and Lee had two hits apiece for the Giants, who had no extra-base hits until the ninth.<\/p>\n

Schwarber and Castellanos collected two hits each for the Phillies, who lost to the Giants for the fourth time in five meetings this season.<\/p>\n
