The Guardians averaged 23,726 fans through their first 40 home games, a 5.3% decline compared with the first 41 games\u202flast year, ranking them 22nd in MLB, according to Joe Scalzo of CRAIN\u2019S CLEVELAND BUSINESS. Guardians VP of Communications Curtis Danburg said it\u2019s \u201cunderstandable that we\u2019re a little down\u201d considering the \u201cweather challenges\u201d from the early months. Scalzo noted there have been \u201csome bright spots, attendance-wise.\u201d The team has seen \u201chuge growth in its two renovated sections<\/a>\u201d — the North Coast Social and the Carnegie Club — and has sold out nearly every game in the Paul Davis Pennant District, which debuted in right field last season. The Guardians also continue to sell out their standing-room-only Ballpark Pass each month. Danburg said the \u201cdemand is there,\u201d adding the club hasn\u2019t \u201cgotten the lift for the single-game tickets, and that\u2019s mainly due to the weather.\u201d Scalzo noted while this year\u2019s attendance trails 2024, it \u201cremains well ahead<\/a> of the midseason pace\u202fin 2023,\u201d when Cleveland averaged 20,893 fans through its first 38 home games.
