As the MLB season gets closer to the All-Star break, the Toronto Blue Jays have emerged as the hottest team in baseball.<\/p>\n

Heading into their final matchup in a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox, Toronto has won 10 straight games.<\/p>\n

Their win on Tuesday night has given the Blue Jays a 3.5 game lead in the AL East after taking over the top spot last week in their dominant series against the New York Yankees.<\/p>\n

As Toronto now has a record of 54-38, they have the most wins before the All-Star break in franchise history.<\/p>\n

MLB Network’s Mark DeRosa broke down the Blue Jays’ electric performance as of recently, saying, “Multiple ingredients \u2013 good starting pitching, they need a lockdown closer. They got that. You need stars to be stars. I like Bo Bichette being an RBI guy now. George Springer’s having a massive resurgence… They are getting contributions from the entire roster.”<\/p>\n

Toronto has been dominant at home this season (32-16 record), but could cleanup their game while playing on the road (22-22).<\/p>\n

They are currently top five in hits (807), batting average (.259), and on base percentage (.331) on the offensive side and their pitching staff has been great for them. Currently being top five in saves (28) and strikeouts (814).<\/p>\n

The Blue Jays have been healthy for the most part as well, but are waiting on the return of key players such as pitchers Bowden Francis, Alek Manoah, and outfielder Anthony Santander.<\/p>\n

Although there is a lot of season left, if the Toronto Blue Jays can stay hot this regular season, they have a strong chance of winning their first AL East title since 2015.<\/p>\n
