Oregon\u2019s Jason Reitz is headed to the Minnesota Twins organization.<\/p>\n
The Ducks\u2019 6-foot-10 right-hander was selected by the Twins in the fourth round with the No. 119 overall pick of the MLB draft on Monday.<\/p>\n
The pick has a slotted value of $635,700, according to MLB.com.<\/p>\n
Reitz went 5-1 with a 3.50 ERA and had 73 strikeouts over 64 1\/3 innings last season at Oregon after transferring from Saint Mary\u2019s, where he spent two seasons. He went 3-1 with one save and posted a 6.00 ERA over 48 innings pitched in 2024.<\/p>\n
The second current Oregon player to be drafted this year, Reitz joins Mason Neville and is the highest selected UO pitcher since Ryne Nelson went No. 56 overall in 2019.<\/p>\n
