The Baltimore Orioles claimed right-handed pitcher Elvin Rodriguez off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers and optioned him to Triple-A Norfolk. The move could eventually add depth to the O’s bullpen if they make any MLB trade deadline moves.<\/p>\n
Rodriguez last pitched May 7th in the majors with the Brewers with a 8.68 ERA in six games with Milwaukee.<\/p>\n
In 16 appearances in AAA, he has a 4.25 ERA mostly relief.<\/p>\n
