{"id":188341,"date":"2025-07-19T18:24:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-19T18:24:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/188341\/"},"modified":"2025-07-19T18:24:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-19T18:24:10","slug":"trevor-rogers-making-the-case-to-be-your-next-fantasy-baseball-flier","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/188341\/","title":{"rendered":"Trevor Rogers making the case to be your next fantasy baseball flier"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, we are going to pretend to be Gabriel John Utterson as we investigate the \u201cThe Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Playing the roles of Dr. Henry Jekyll and the cruel Edward Hyde is Orioles left-hander Trevor Rogers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When Rogers was last truly Dr. Jekyll in 2021, he was named an All-Star and finished second in Rookie of the Year voting after going 7-8 with a 2.64 ERA, 10.6 strikeouts per nine, .214 opponents\u2019 average and 14.1 percent swinging-strike rate in 25 starts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Much to the dismay of fantasy managers, everything devolved into chaos from 2022-24, when the evil Mr. Hyde took over as Rogers went 7-24 with a 5.09 ERA and 1.520 WHIP in 52 starts.
