I’ve got the Mets winning the second game of this series on Tuesday, but I’ll take the better odds on the run line.<\/p>\n

BET METS -1.5 (+115).<\/p>\n

There are plenty of reasons to back the Mets on Tuesday night. They\u2019ve been dominant at Citi Field this season, boasting a 35-16 home record\u2014second only to the Blue Jays (36 wins). That success is driven by elite pitching; the Mets hold a 3.59 ERA at home, fourth-best in MLB, and opponents are batting just .237 at Citi.<\/p>\n

SS Francisco Lindor thrives in front of the home crowd, batting .295 with 12 of his 19 home runs coming there. On the mound, Montas makes just his fifth start of the season, but he knows this Angels lineup well from his years with the A’s. He looked sharp in his last outing, a road win in Kansas City.<\/p>\n

On the flip side, there’s little to fear with Hendricks. He\u2019s a serviceable veteran, but his stuff isn\u2019t overpowering, and he\u2019s been inconsistent all season. This sets up perfectly for New York to take care of business. Expect the Mets to roll again Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

BET OVER 9 (-120).<\/p>\n

The Over is a strong play Tuesday with the Angels involved. They\u2019ve gone Over in 10 of their last 11 games, thanks to poor pitching\u2014especially on the road, where they carry a 4.73 ERA. With Hendricks on the mound, expect the Mets to do most of the scoring themselves and push this total past the number.<\/p>\n
