I like the Tigers to finally snap out of their post-All-Star Game slump and avoid the 4-game sweep on Sunday. Yes, the Blue Jays are the hottest team in baseball, but this is a favorable spot for Detroit with Flaherty on the mound. Flaherty has had consistent success against Toronto, allowing just 8 ER over his last 4 starts against them. On the other side, Scherzer hasn\u2019t gone deep into games and has allowed at least 2 ER in every start this season.<\/p>\n

The Tigers’ bats are due for a breakout, averaging only 1.8 runs per game since the break. Despite their struggles, Detroit has still played well at Comerica Park with a 32-21 record. Something has to give\u2014and I believe it will be Toronto\u2019s win streak. Take the Tigers to salvage the series finale.<\/p>\n
