It is the start of a seven game homestand for the Texas Rangers, and game seven in a stretch of 22 games in 23 days. Chase Dollander, the University of Tennessee righthander we once thought might be a candidate for the Rangers at #4 in the 2023 draft (he went 9th to the Rockies), will be making his 7th career start. The Rangers, meanwhile, have no Corey Seager in the lineup, as well as no Josh Smith.<\/p>\n
