First baseman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/register\/player.fcgi?id=crim--000bla&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.mlbtraderumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-05-01_br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Blaine Crim<\/a> will be promoted to the majors in his place, according to Rosenthal. Burger has one minor league option remaining, so the Rangers will not need to pass him through waivers in order to send him to Triple-A.
