It\u2019s been nearly two months since Kyle Harrison was traded to the Boston Red Sox as a part of the Rafael Devers blockbuster.<\/p>\n

The southpaw hasn\u2019t yet made his debut in Boston, making each of his eight starts<\/a> this summer with the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox.<\/p>\n

Harrison was on the bump on Thursday afternoon against the Buffalo Bisons and had arguably his best outing since being acquired by the Red Sox.<\/p>\n

\u201cKyle Harrison\u2019s day is done. Final line: 5.0 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 7 K 99 pitches \/ 61 strikes 11 swinging strikes,\u201d the SoxProspects.com Bluesky account posted. \u201c48% 4-Seam Fastballs (7 whiffs) 27% Slurves (1 whiff) 17% Sliders (3 whiffs) 7% Changeups.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Harrison had to settle for a no-decision, Thursday was only his second scoreless start with Worcester. The other was a 3 2\/3-inning outing against the Rochester Red Wings on July 13.<\/p>\n

The two hits allowed by the 23-year-old against the Bisons were the fewest in his eight appearances and his seven strikeouts were one shy of his season-high, which he set in April with Triple-A Sacramento.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Harrison is now 3-2 with a 3.96 ERA and 36 strikeouts across 36 1\/3 innings pitched with Worcester.<\/p>\n
