You’re in luck. Saturday’s MLB slate features 16 games between all 30 teams across the league. That gives bettors plenty of enticing options to choose from. Before the start of today’s matchups, here are three MLB bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook.

At 67-50, the Tigers still have firm control of the AL Central. Still, Detroit has posted a mediocre 8-12 record since July 18th. That’s due in large part to a lack of success at the plate. During that time, the team has scored baseball’s seventh-fewest runs (80). That’s not a great sign heading into a matchup with Angels ace Yusei Kikuchi. The southpaw has recorded a 3.22 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 9.3 K/9 this season. When he last pitched against the Tigers, Kikuchi tossed five innings of two-run ball.

For the home team, Charlie Morton will take the mound. Acquired last week from the Orioles, it’s been a remarkable turnaround for the veteran. After getting destroyed in April and May, the right-hander has posted a 3.68 ERA over his last nine starts. That includes a six-inning, one-run outing in his Tigers debut last week against the Phillies. Against a league-average Angels offense, I’m willing to trust that Morton can limit the damage at pitcher-friendly Comerica Park.

An extensive rebuild is officially underway in Minnesota. Still, the Twins managed to hold on to a few assets, including pitcher Bailey Ober. It’s been a disappointing 2025 campaign for the right-hander (5.38 ERA, 1.41 WHIP). Regardless, the 29-year-old had delivered an ERA under 4.00 in each of his previous three seasons. Few matchups are more promising for a struggling pitcher than a date with the Royals. The team is averaging an American League-worst 3.70 runs per game. In addition, Ober has held Kansas City to a total of two runs over 12.2 innings this season (1.42 ERA).

The Royals have stayed competitive thanks to a loaded pitching staff. That includes rookie phenom Noah Cameron, who has come out of nowhere this year. Through 87.1 innings of work, the 26-year-old has accounted for a 2.68 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 72 strikeouts. That’s not an ideal matchup on paper for this lackluster Twins offense. However, Minnesota ranks second in the league since July 1st with a .811 OPS vs. left-handed pitching. Considering how good Ober has been in that spot, the Twins might only need a bit of run support to cash in as underdogs tonight.

A doubleheader is on tap today in Atlanta. For the visiting Marlins, it’ll be Sandy Alcantara taking the hill for Game 2. It’s been a difficult season for the 2022 Cy Young winner. Over 22 starts, the righty owns a ghastly 6.44 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 86 strikeouts. Still, there have been some signs of life for the 29-year-old recently. During his previous three games, Alcantara has notched a stellar 2.84 ERA. Miami is hoping the former ace can deliver another strong start on Saturday. When Sandy pitched against the Braves on June 22nd, he put together a six-inning, three-run performance.

The Marlins won’t have to face some of Atlanta’s best hitters. Austin Riley (abdominal) and Ronald Acuna Jr. (calf) remain sidelined. With a depleted offense, any Braves victory will likely be low-scoring. That’s not a great bet with Erick Fedde on the mound. The former Cardinals hurler, released in July, has been awful in 2025 (5.34 ERA, 1.47 WHIP). On the flip side, Miami has been one of the hottest teams in baseball, winning seven of their last ten games. It’s difficult to fade the Fish tonight against one of the National League’s most inconsistent arms.

Bryan Armetta shares his three favorite MLB bets today on DraftKings Sportsbook for Saturday’s 16-game slate.
