ST. CLOUD \u2014 Things didn\u2019t go the Alexandria Technical and Community College baseball team\u2019s way in the NJCAA Region XIII\/North Plains District Tournament as it lost 12-4 to Northland Community and Technical College on Friday, May 9, 2025, in St. Cloud.<\/p>\n
But the Legends bounced back, winning their next three games to advance to the region\/district final four.<\/p>\n
Alexandria College defeated Minnesota North College-Itasca, 11-7, on Friday, then beat Western Technical College 12-0 in five innings on Saturday and Northland CTC 11-4.<\/p>\n
Alexandria College trailed 3-0 to Northland CTC heading to the bottom of the fifth inning, but outscored Northland CTC 11-1 from then on out to seal an 11-4 win.<\/p>\n
Connor Davis, Jonah DeJong, and Jaden Drill each hit a home run in this four-game span for the Legends.<\/p>\n
The Legends play Riverland Community College at 5 p.m. on Thursday at the MAC in St. Cloud. In the other matchup, Century College takes on St. Cloud Technical and Community College.<\/p>\n
The winner of these games plays in the district\/region semifinal at 11 a.m. on Friday, while the loser of the games plays an elimination game at 2 p.m. on Friday. The winner of the elimination game plays the loser of the first semifinal game at 5 p.m. on Friday.<\/p>\n
The NJCAA DIII Region XIII\/North Plains District Championship is set for Noon on Saturday at the MAC in St. Cloud. Since the final four has a double-elimination tournament, a winner-takes-all game two is set to follow the Noon game on Saturday if necessary.<\/p>\n
