It’s officially May, and the MLB season is in full swing. Today, we review our mid-week waiver rankings for Week 5– April 26 through May 4. This edition of waiver wire rankings features Luke Weaver<\/a>, Caleb Durbin<\/a>, Bubba Chandler<\/a>, Tony Gonsolin<\/a>, Matt Mervis<\/a>, and David Bednar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There are key performances, prospect promotions, and injuries to watch for this week. Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages<\/a> has been on fire recently, hitting .545 (18-for-33) with four home runs, nine RBI, nine runs, and three stolen bases over his last eight games. Some injuries to watch include Los Angeles star outfielder Mike Trout<\/a>, who is day-to-day with left knee soreness. Arizona Diamondbacks top prospect Jordan Lawlar<\/a> continues to make his case for a promotion to the big leagues by slashing .381\/.470\/.690 with six home runs and 12 stolen bases across 28 games for Triple-A Reno.<\/p>\n
