Well, we all knew there would be one of these games. The Yankees<\/a> always manage to find one weird, frustrating night on their West Coast trips, often one that goes into extra innings. Tuesday night checked all of those boxes as the Mariners walked them off in 11 innings, when a sluggish offense could do next to nothing for seven innings before finally scratching a run across to bail Max Fried out of a potential one-run loss. It was the Yankee ace\u2019s first real so-so performance, but he still managed to avoid any major blowups en route to five innings of one-run ball. Sadly, the parade of relievers that followed could only go on so long before one blinked, and Tim Hill ended up being the one saddled with the loss.<\/p>\n

The road trip concludes today with an afternoon game, but before we get into that let\u2019s see what we have coming up for you.
