The Chicago Cubs go for their third straight win on Wednesday night when they take on the Miami Marlins. The Cubs took the opener 5-2 on Monday, but needed a ninth inning comeback on Tuesday to clinch the series win. The Cubs trailed 4-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth, but got an RBI single by Nico Hoerner to cut the lead to one and then got a two-run walkoff double by Justin Turner to give them the win. The victory pushed the Cubs record to 25-18 on the season and has them in first place in the National League Central. They picked up a half game on the St. Louis Cardinals, who had their game postponed. They are now 1.5 games up on their rivals for the top spot. <\/p>\n

On Wednesday the Cubs will send Jameson Taillon to the mound as they try to pick up the three-game sweep. Taillon comes into Wednesday 2-2 with a 4.53 ERA. He struggled in his last start, as he gave up six runs on nine hits in just four innings.<\/p>\n
