The Texas Rangers scored seven runs while the Anaheim Angels scored three runs.<\/p>\n
In just the last week or so, the Rangers lost their stalwart franchise pillar second baseman, their World Series hero young outfielder, and, as we found out today, their Cy Young-contending starter having potentially the most impressive season on the mound in team history.<\/p>\n
At a game under .500 coming into this one, and having just been shut out in the opener, there was plenty of reasons to expect a depressing evening. Instead, the Rangers scored three runs first inning runs, got two more in the second inning, and then cruised to one of their easiest wins of the season*.<\/p>\n
Basically, never place sports bets on the 2025 Texas Rangers.<\/p>\n

Player of the Game: Doing his best Nathan Eovaldi impression, tonight\u2019s starter Patrick Corbin dominated with eight shutout innings. Corbin allowed just three hits, walked one, and struck out eight Angels.<\/p>\n
Corbin will likely spend the rest of the season in the rotation at this point, and he very well could end up leading the team in starts by the end of this year. Who\u2019d have thunk it?<\/p>\n
