The second game of this interleague series will feature a new Dodger in the dugout as top prospect Dalton Rushing was called up<\/a>, taking the place of Austin Barnes, who was designated for assignment<\/a>. He\u2019s not in the lineup on Wednesday night, though.<\/p>\n

L.A. looks to get some revenge Wednesday with right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto and his 1.80 ERA on the mound. The Dodgers ace has 53 strikeouts this year to just 14 walks and a WHIP of 0.978.<\/p>\n

The veteran outfielder is batting .429 in the last five games, as his 10 games before that saw an unacceptable .030 average in 33 at-bats.<\/p>\n

Speaking of productive veterans, Freddie Freeman is going to smash a long ball against the Athletics. Tuesday was uncharacteristically quiet for the man with a National League-leading 1.145 OPS, but expect that to increase this evening. <\/p>\n
