The Fish eked out three infield hits while New York assisted their division-rival&#8217;s efforts with three errors. Mazur flashed an improved four-seam, as the pitch averaged 95.7 mph on the gun compared to 94.8 his first go-around in mid-June. Mazur&#8217;s heater was responsible for two of his eight whiffs, with four coming on his wipeout slider.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tWinning any of the three remaining games of the series would secure at least a split for the Marlins. That&#8217;d be significant for a slumping club that has dropped seven consecutive series dating back to August 4.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFriday night&#8217;s second game features two arms destined to haunt opposing NL East teams&#8217; nightmares for a decade in Eury P\u00e9rez and Jonah Tong\u2014the latter making his MLB debut.
