The Great Lakes Loons put together a trio of three-run innings to defeat the Lake County Captains (Guardians) 9-5. Josue De Paula, finishing the season red hot, had two hits, including a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored. Jake Gelof, also closing the season strong, had a single, a double, and a walk.<\/p>\n
The Fresno Grizzlies (Rockies) beat the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 7-3. Landyn Vidourek had three hits for the Quakes, and Emil Morales contributed a hit and an RBI.<\/p>\n
The California League Playoffs begin Tuesday night, and the Quakes will play the Inland Empire 66ers (Angels) in a best-of-three game series.<\/p>\n
