The Brewers<\/a> are back home following a 2-4 road trip. They\u2019ve been trying to hold even at .500 but could use a boost soon so they don\u2019t fall too far behind. It will be a tough task this weekend as the Twins, winners of 11-straight games, come to American Family Field.<\/p>\n

Chad Patrick is back on the mound for his ninth start of the season. As the Brewers\u2019 rotation has gone through several injuries, Patrick has been a source of consistency that it desperately needed. His last game wasn\u2019t his best, as he pitched just 4 1\u20443 innings and allowed two runs. It was also rain-delayed, which could have played into the short start that day.<\/p>\n

For the Twins, Joe Ryan will get the start in tonight\u2019s game. He\u2019s been tough to beat, allowing one run or fewer in six of his eight starts. His last start was one of those, as he allowed just one run and two hits to the Giants on Saturday. He struck out seven in that start as well and has at least seven strikeouts in four of his last five games.<\/p>\n

Despite the nine-run outburst on Wednesday, the batting order is getting an overhaul again for tonight\u2019s game. Brice Turang is back in the leadoff spot for the first time in two weeks. After him, William Contreras will bat second for the first time this season. Christian Yelich bats third again, with Rhys Hoskins taking the fourth spot. Sal Frelick is batting fifth again (also for the first time in two weeks), while Jackson Chourio slides all the way down to the sixth spot. Jake Bauers, Caleb Durbin, and Joey Ortiz round out the lineup.<\/p>\n

On the Twins side, they will be without a couple of their starters. Byron Buxton and Carlos Correa are both out of the lineup as they go through the concussion protocol following a collision yesterday. Correa was placed on the concussion IL earlier today<\/a>, taking him out for this series (Ryan Fitzgerald was selected as a corresponding move). Buxton\u2019s status is still uncertain as he continues testing.<\/p>\n

The Brewers will also have a reinforcement to help the bullpen tonight. Prior to the game, they acquired LHP Rob Zastryzny from the Yankees<\/a> for cash, and optioned Elvis Peguero to Nashville in a corresponding move. The Brewers had an open spot on the 40-man roster, which fills it at 40.<\/p>\n

Zastryzny was on the Brewers\u2019 roster last season. He pitched in nine games (7 2\u20443 innings) for the team and allowed just one run. After the season, he was acquired by the Cubs<\/a> off of waivers but was released prior to spring training. The Yankees signed him a few days later, and he\u2019s spent the season at their Triple-A affiliate. He\u2019s made 13 appearances there and posted a 4.50 ERA but also has 12 strikeouts compared to zero walks.<\/p>\n

Tonight\u2019s game will be on FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network, as usual.
