Mandatory Credit: Eric Canha-Imagn Images\u00a9 Eric Canha-Imagn Images<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, they arguably have the best farm system in Major League Baseball, and there could be a starter available from an American League East team to move those prospects for.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Orioles could be willing to move on from Zach Eflin if they don&#8217;t turn things around.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If the Baltimore Orioles aren\u2019t a contender by the All-Star break, teams will be pouncing on starter Zach Eflin, reliever Seranthony Dominguez and center fielder Cedric Mullins at the trade deadline,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/mlb\/columnist\/bob-nightengale\/2025\/05\/04\/jim-marshall-mlb-baseball-mets\/83435470007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Nightengale wrote;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Nightengale wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Orioles might not be willing to trade him to the Red Sox, but it&#8217;s also fair to point out that he was on the Tampa Bay Rays prior to being dealt to Baltimore at the deadline last year.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Sox might have to move a decent package, but that isn&#8217;t a guarantee, considering he hits free agency at the end of the season.
