Cincinnati Reds<\/a> manager Terry Francona spoke during the 3rd inning of Game 2<\/a> of their National League wild-card series against the Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> about how starting pitcher Zack Littell looked facing the Dodgers’ first few batters.<\/p>\n

“Zack’s been Zack,” Reds manager Terry Francona told ESPN<\/a>‘s Alden Gonzalez during the game. “He knows how to navigate through a lineup. He’s not gonna strike everybody out. We obviously have a little bit of a tight leash because of where we are. But he’s doing a good job.”<\/p>\n

Littell was replaced by Nick Lodolo after allowing two runs in the 4th inning, which gave the Dodgers a 3-2 lead.<\/p>\n

Rookie Sal Stewart gave the Reds a 2-0 lead<\/a> in the 1st inning with a single that drove in Gavin Lux and Austin Hays.<\/p>\n
