CLEVELAND, Ohio \u2014 In a decision made by the Dominican Baseball League (LiDOM) late Monday, Guardians pitchers Luis Ortiz and Emmanuel Clase will not be allowed to play in their native land this winter.<\/p>\n

MLB placed Ortiz and Clase on \u201cnon-disciplinary paid leave\u201d in July because of an ongoing gambling investigation. They did not pitch for the Guardians for the remainder of the regular season and postseason.<\/p>\n
