MLB Network analyst Dan Plesac called his shot Friday when he predicted that\u00a0Toronto Blue Jays third baseman\/outfielder Addison Barger would be the hero of Game 1 of the 2025 World Series before the first pitch was even thrown.<\/p>\n
During pregame coverage, Plesac said that Barger, who wasn\u2019t even in the starting lineup for Game 1, would enter the game and \u201crun into\u201d a pitch that would send Blue Jays fans into a tizzy.<\/p>\n
