{"id":440624,"date":"2025-11-20T05:11:28","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T05:11:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/440624\/"},"modified":"2025-11-20T05:11:28","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T05:11:28","slug":"mariners-plan-for-season-long-50th-anniversary-celebration-sports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/440624\/","title":{"rendered":"Mariners plan for season long 50th anniversary celebration | Sports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SEATTLE, Wash. &#8212; Coming off their fourth trip to the American League Championship Series, the Seattle Mariners are preparing for a season long 50th anniversary celebration.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration will culminate with the\u00a050 Seasons Celebration Weekend August 7-9 at T-Mobile Park.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration kicks off with Kingdome Fanny Pack Hat Night on April 17.<\/p>\n<p>The team will wear a &#8220;50 Seasons&#8221; patch on their jerseys. While one of the Mariners&#8217; favorite slogans is &#8220;Tridents Up&#8221; the 50th anniversary logo does not include the trident which was on the 1977 team&#8217;s cap and formed the &#8220;M&#8221; in Mariners on their jersey.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/mariners\/fans\/50-seasons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Voting is now underway for the 50 greatest Mariners.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The first starting pitcher for the Mariners in 1977 was Diego Segui.
