The right-hander pitched in the majors in parts of 2023, 2024, and 2025 with the Yankees before getting designated for assignment by New York in April. The Dodgers claimed him off waivers on April 25<\/a>, and activated him one day later in a classic swap to add a fresh arm into the bullpen.<\/p>\n Noah Davis pitched two innings the previous day and appeared in three games over the previous four days, so he was optioned to make room for G\u00f3mez<\/a>, who was out of options so you knew his days were going to be numbered as well.<\/p>\n G\u00f3mez\u2019s first game with the Dodgers was his best, and we\u2019ll get to that shortly. But after that the right-hander had a pair of poor outings while pitching at or near the tail end of blowout wins.
