“Yeah, made a little adjustment the first day here [Colorado], and working in the training room.” Turner Said. “Just, I think I got hit by that pitch earlier in the season… but I think that kind of created a little bit of bad habits for driving the ball. But [the] last few days it’s been better about getting the ball in the air and hitting the gaps and whatnot.”<\/p>\n

Now that he’s recovered from the aftereffects of the hit-by-pitch, his power has come roaring back. But the hit-by-pitch wasn’t the only reason for his recent offensive success.<\/p>\n
When asked if he changes his mechanics, Turner said, “A little bit. It’s small changes for me. It’s nice when I try to do something a little different, and then it kind of clicks in, feels good.”<\/p>\n

Turner isn’t the only hitter finding his groove in Colorado. Bryce Harper is also slugging the ball against the Rockies, with a .500 batting average and a 1.324 OPS in the series.<\/p>\n
