His Opening Day timeline is in jeopardy, but even if Nootbaar is not ready at the start of the season, he should not miss more than a few weeks.”

The five-year MLB veteran has played across the outfield in his career, and would serve as a valuable piece for the Dodgers next season if he were to come to LA. His lacking glove could pose a problem for the Dodgers, but if they find themselves desperate, they could very well pursue Nootbaar.

Have you downloaded the new Dodgers Nation app yet? Click here for Apple Users and here for Android Users to be a part of the redesigned app to give fans everything they need, all in one place.
