GREG BIFFLE AND HIS FAMILY WERE ON BOARD THE PLANE THAT THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION SAYS CRASHED WHILE TRYING TO LAND AT STATESVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT. PRELIMINARY FLIGHT TRACKING DATA SHOWS THE PRIVATE JET TOOK OFF, FLEW FIVE MILES AND THEN MADE A SHARP LEFT TURN BACK TO THE AIRPORT. WHILE THE INVESTIGATION IS JUST BEGINNING. HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS THEY CANNOT GIVE A DEFINITE LIST OF THE OTHER PEOPLE ON BOARD. THE REASON WHY WE CAN\u2019T GIVE YOU A DEFINITIVE LIST OF THOSE SEVEN OCCUPANTS IS BECAUSE OF THE POST-CRASH FIRE. SO JUST LIKE WE WOULD TREAT A A AUTOMOBILE CRASH, UNLESS WE CAN LOOK AT AN IMAGE AND LOOK AT A PERSON, WE JUST CAN\u2019T TELL YOU FOR SURE WHO THOSE PEOPLE ARE. WELL, IT\u2019S NOT CLEAR WHAT MAY HAVE LED UP TO THE CRASH. THE NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION SAFETY BOARD IS EXPECTED TO ARRI\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Cincinnati Reds sent their condolences after the death of retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, who died in a plane crash Thursday in North Carolina.Biffle, a semi-retired racecar driver, had a successful career in NASCAR, winning multiple championships and 19 races in 515 starts.Biffle visited Great American Ball Park for the Reds\u2019 game against the Cleveland Guardians on May 17.Biffle was recognized on the field and threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game.\u201cOur hearts are heavy after learning of the loss of NASCAR legend Greg Biffle.
