There\u2019s still plenty of time left this winter, though, and The Athletic\u2019s Jim Bowden listed the Dodgers as potential landing spots for both Tucker and Bellinger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Dodgers, who need to improve their defense in right field, are also a great fit although their interest is in a shorter contract with higher AAV and opt-out clauses,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6889235\/2025\/12\/17\/mlb-free-agents-best-fits-2025-2026\/?source=emp_shared_article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bowden wrote.<\/a> \u201cIf Tucker decides to pursue a \u201cpillow\u201d-type deal like Alonso did last offseason, then the Dodgers are his best landing spot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>More news: <a href=\"https:\/\/dodgersnation.com\/dodgers-mookie-betts-wont-participate-in-2026-world-baseball-classic\/2025\/12\/18\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dodgers\u2019 Mookie Betts Won\u2019t Participate in 2026 World Baseball Classic<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tucker is primarily a right fielder, and would fit right into the Dodgers\u2019 lineup if he were to sign with LA this offseason.
