His last start was one of his best, in the Giants\u2019 1-0 win over the Athletics on Saturday, in which he allowed just five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in six innings.<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll be facing off against Nationals left-hander MacKenzie Gore, who enters today\u2019s game with a 3.67 ERA, 2.95 FIP, with 84 strikeouts to 18 walks in 56.1 innings pitched over 10 starts. His last start was a bit rough, in the Nationals\u2019 4-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles last Friday, in which he allowed two runs on 10 hits with nine strikeouts and two walks in three and two thirds innings.<\/p>\n
