\n\tAfter languishing on the market for over a year, Los Angeles<\/a> Dodgers<\/a> star Freddie Freeman has finally managed to offload his modern farmhouse-style residence in the far western reaches of Studio City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe home was first offered for just under $9 million in summer 2024, then subsequently relisted several times before disappearing from the listings and resurfacing at a discounted\u00a0$7.4 million\u00a0in September 2025. Per property records, the place has now been sold to an LLC linked to Platinum Equity\u2019s Jacob Kotzubei for $6.45 million, which is a whopping $1.375 million less than the $7.8 million the nine-time All-Star first baseman and his wife, Chelsea, paid in 2023.<\/p>\n

\n\tCustom-built and designed in 2022 by the architecture team of Rob Diaz, Mark Alexander, and Anastasia Ratia, the double A-frame structure rests on almost a quarter of an acre beyond a gated driveway that empties at an attached two-car garage. A total of four bedrooms and six baths are spread across roughly 6,300 square feet of warm yet chic Sarah Brady-designed living space boasting high oak-beam ceilings, plaster walls, sanded limestone floors, and oversized steel-case windows and doors throughout.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the highlights is a wet bar-equipped den that opens to a private courtyard, plus a spacious living room anchored by a vintage-inspired fireplace, built-in shelving, a day bed, and glass doors spilling outside. The kitchen is outfitted with an expansive eat-in island, and upscale Cove, Wolf, and Sub-Zero appliances, while a dining area connects to a discreetly hidden service kitchen.<\/p>\n

\n\tA brass-railed staircase heads upstairs, where a landing area is topped by an impressive 14-foot skylight. A posh primary suite comes with a private balcony, a separate sitting room, showroom-style closets, and a marble-clad bath sporting a large glass-encased shower with access to an open-air garden tub, and rounding it all off is a hedge-lined backyard hosting a black-bottom pool, an infrared sauna, a fire pit lounge area, and a detached guesthouse.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe three-time World Series champ, who also owns homes in Pasadena and Orange County\u2019s seaside Corona del Mar community, initially picked up the newly built spec mansion in Studio City to reduce his 90-minute commute time to the nearby Dodger Stadium.
