The Red Sox may be in the most competitive division in baseball, and the rest of the AL East is making moves.<\/p>\n<p>Boston will have to play at least a little bit of catch up, even beyond pointing to Gray and Contreras as important additions.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Sox are too big a market to just ignore the free agent pool.<\/p>\n<p>If they happened to miss out on Bregman and Bichette, things would get quite concerning.
